Integrated Community Supports (ICS)

Preferred Care Services LLC is thrilled to introduce our Integrated Community Supports (ICS) services, specially crafted to aid adults seeking to reside and receive assistance in a supported apartment environment.

What Is ICS?
Integrated Community Supports fills identified service gaps for individuals desiring the comfort of a supported apartment setting. Within an ICS setting, typically a multi-family housing building, we, as the provider, exercise direct or indirect control over the living units, whether through ownership, operation, or leasing.

Who Is Eligible for ICS?
Eligibility for ICS services is determined by a person-centered support plan, tailored to individual needs and assessed areas of necessity. Services can be provided up to 24 hours per day, either within the living unit or the community. However, it’s important to note that certain waiver services, such as 24-hour emergency assistance, are not available concurrently with ICS.

Covered Services of ICS
ICS services are primarily offered in multi-family housing buildings, where the provider has a vested interest in the property or housing. These services aim to promote independent living and address identified gaps in living settings.

Non-covered Services of ICS
Clients currently receiving customized living services are not mandated to transition to ICS unless the setting transitions accordingly. In such cases, individuals must either transition to ICS or move to an assisted living setting to continue receiving customized living services.
